EJ is wandering around the nest, still looking around. She tried to move the large stick on 'our' side of the nest with the lichen on, but it wouldn't move. Still checking around her, EJ moved to the back of the nest. .... And she has flown off.

EJ just flown off. This two tier nest with the grassy mezzanine just doesn't look very good for raising chicks...

EJ certainly took a step down into the PM hole when she was wandering around! I hate to think what might happen if a young bobblehead falls into the hole if the nest cup is elsewhere on the nest.
FISH, 11:53! EJ lands on the grassy mezzanine (LOL!):
His Gorgeousness brings her some lunch:
Ooh, yes please:
She has flown, leaving us to admire this gorgeous male bird:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
11.54 FISH DELIVERY EJ takes it and flies off. Odin is standing, just watching around him. Is there an intruder still around? He is not calling.
Oh, where's my post and pic! Oh well, it was the same as your last one, again, Clare!! How odd.
They don't always appear immediately, Sheila. I'm regularly finding that.
She's back:
Odin has flown.
More rampant mating:
And after a quick mate, Odin is off!
