Another good day for EJ and Odin. Despite the wind the nest is looking better, with more soft nest material, and a new blog from Jen is reassuringly unworried about the PM hole. I was watching EJ working there this evening and was reminded of a past season when the nestcup was steep and deep - maybe the PM only nuzzled a hole that was already there.
I expect EJ to add to the good news from other nests very soon ;-)
It's a blustery, wet night.

Another one:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hello everyone. Thank you for the start off SCYLLA. And thank you MARY CLARE SCYLLA for all the captures . I wish LoTL and Dyfi thread had a 'daily' thread. Anyway, here's to EJ's firt egg
Hi, Cirrus and Olliebeak!
Morning all and, once again, many thanks to Scylla for 'the nightwatch'. Not surprised she's gone for a well-earned sleep :). Thanks also to Clare and MaryGK for their photos alongside Scylla's.
Wonder if today will be 'THE DAY' ........................ we can all live in hopes :-D.
Grandchild-free day today, but it's my turn for volunteer-duties instead ................................ so will pop back in again later to see how things are going with our gorgeous feathered friends. Have a good day of Osprey-watching, everybody - Ollie x
