Another fantastic day for EJ and Odin, in that it was just routine - no drama, no upsets. For us, the heartwarming sights and sounds of our two favourite birds on their nest.
But tonight it snows on our parade and the wind picks up and dies down in turn - this is no weather for egg-laying, please hold off, EJ :-*

Stopped snowing a little while ago:

EJ back on nest, but only briefly.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Sorry I missed you WENDY :-*
EJ flew onto the nest from below (I judge), didn't stay long.
Then Odin touched down and off straight away:
Then EJ returned and Odin flew in for mating, they triggered big glare. They didn't hang about, don't blame them.
Getting lighter quickly:
Morning ALL
I just opened up the webcams and a bird on all nests, poor EJ will have cold talons this morning then! Snow yikes! nothing unusual though, it has snowed when we have been up there in May. It is not affecting Odin;s mating genes, even although its cold and windy! just caught him as he was leaving!

Morning all. There's nothing quite like a bit of nookie in the snow.

That wasn't spam, it was a story of the morning...
