A Google search revealed this so I have started a new thread has been suggested.
Birdies LG DU update.
I've read the article and I don't see how an exclusion zone can work, as the noice from all the rock bands would still badly disturb the Ospreys.
Regards,
Ian.
I am looking forward to when Val updates again. Even although she couldn't say much I read the comments as a positive
Positive comments LMAC ? Where ?? My heart is sinking
An unbelievably arrogant interview in the paper. despite him saying he didn't wish to appear so!
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
He does come across as horribly arrogant, doesn't he? I'm worried that he's so overwhelmingly confident of getting permission - who has he been talking to behind the scenes? More importantly, what has he promised them?
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
What a horrible man! He is making out the people concerned for the wildlife, including but not only ospreys, are only making an excuse to stop his concert. And he is not really sorry about the cherry picker only that his plan did not work!
I bet he's been given some grief over such an awful use of the Scottish flag - in fact, I wonder if doing such a thing might have got people interested in this whole business who otherwise might not have been.
Can only agree what a horrible man! And all these admissions purposely disturbing the birds!! Hard to believe this has gone on.
I wonder if CRinger has had any response to his email?
KAREN - Two days ago organisers DF Concerts posted leaflets in every household to the local community. That certainly outstretched to Dunblane as I received them in my letter box - they ask for written feedback in support of this concert stating all the positives but no mention of destruction of wildlife.
Mr Ellis in his arrogance quotes What is more important - Ospreys or T in the Park.
Well in response to this question I am aware what P & K council answer is and will remain so - All I can say the concert will take place as planned with possibly an exclusion area.
I think an agreement has been concluded by all parties (P & K - DF Concerts - SNH - RSPB) leave the birds alone and agree with this exclusion area and the concert will be granted approval in May.
No wonder Mr Ellis is so confident - HE KNOWS the outcome.
Keith - thanks for response however it makes very sad reading.
