I'm more concerned that she doesn't like eau de pine martin, and is looking elsewhere. But saying that she's probably chilling out while she can, as you said :)
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
I did wonder about that - but she has made an effort to start on the nest, which makes me think she'll continue to do so.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She should be used to eau de pine marten (lovely expression!), we've seen one on the nest immediately pre-season each year (I think).
I'd love to know what she's up to.
IMAGICAT
Yes Scylla, but this one had nested further down in her nest, (as posted in Jens blog) and was using the nest cup as it's toilet! Something's not quite right. She's been away from the nest for 17 hours. Perhaps she's close by waiting for a man.....any man lol :D
Perhaps she is sitting on Blue XD's nest :)
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Morning Chloe. Yes I thought that.

It didn't register with me that it had set up home, MOFFER. I still need to wake up and smell the coffee after a very stressful time with a Facebook bald eagle page and I can't even remember what else :-/
