This morning OH and me went for a cycle ride before work (very unusual!)the hedges were full of yellow hammers and Whitethroats singing, it was lovely but quite cold. We also saw a hobby the first so far, and a few swallows flashing over the fields of oilseed rape.
The ducks were not seen yesterday but I saw the female with a load of ducklings over on the flooded field, which has formed a lake! Will try and get a pic. I hope sh
Hope she will not try and bring them over the road for food but I think shes very smart! They are safe in that lake and probably plentiful food for them.
What about the neighbor's sheep? Any lambs?

This is so worrying :(

Hello June and Gabbers. June there were lambs in the field but he has moved them to a new field to let the grass recover! Will see if OH has a photo I can use. Rutherfords children :)
Starling thanks for the link, worrying events indeed! So worried about dear Odin and also the eggs:( Still I cant imagine an experienced girl like EJ would allow harm to come to her eggs! I like the way Jen said she elbowed the intruder off the nest!
With my keyboard not working properly I have neglected reading as well. Now while keyboard is working as it should (for a while only, probably) I will try to catch up.
How is Odin? I believe I read that he was injured defending his nest.
I understand the intruder was chased away several times by EJ & they thought he was gone for good. Has he returned?
Lots of drama this morning June. The intruder very persistent. I don't think Odin has been seen since morning.
WHERE IS ODIN? Jen's blog stating that he was last seen chasing the intruder was written 4-27 (yesterday) at 5:50 pm and it seems he still has not been seen today. That is almost 24 hours and far too long to be away fishing.
June if you read my post above he was seen this morning.
