Great Video captured by Gordon at Aviemore Ospreys. He was waiting for Odin. Still stuck on Orkney but now on Main Island at Kirkwall.

Thanks KEITH Wonderful capture
Thanks Keith,
I was wondering how to show the little clip on here, not sure which Osprey is was as I missed the first dive and need to be able to watch from a different place further away to know which Osprey it is and can't leave the hide until the Osprey is well away, and boy did it snow this morning.
Thanks Gordon.
On Thursday I was able to take the short crossing from The Island of Flotta over to The Island of Hoy as my colleagues alerted to me to the nesting Sea Eagles on the Island. A few colleagues accompanied me.
We were able to watch them around the eyrie they are building and were allowed to observe them from near to Dwarfie Stone. One of my colleagues cleared this with Alan Leitch.
This is the first time in 142 years that sea eagles have nested in Orkney. The birds are only young maybe around 5 years and it is hoped they have paired and will raise a family. They may be offspring from some of the translocations carried out on the West coast of Mainland Scotland or Fife or possibly a pairing from Norway.
Since seeing them I have found an article in The Orcadian which then was given to BBC Scotland (NE Scotland - Shetland and Orkney).
SEA EAGLES ON ORKNEY
SEA EAGLES IN BID TO NEST
Thanks Gordon - Its also great to hear from you agin.
Your Lochan exhibits some of the finest pictures I have seen of ospreys and hope to get up and see you this summer (Now in Dunblane).
On Orkney at present and saw the Sea Eagles on Thursday on Hoy - weather not much better.
nest buildingyour snows seem to come and go quidkly
Keith seems your time on Orkney not totally boring as you were able to observe sea eagles.
I have been doing some streetwalking. Found some nice homes but none of the charm I love so much at Lerwick.
Haven.t yet found a downtown,
Somewhere on Flotta Island. Looks like cows being corralled, maybe for loading onto a truck.
Near the oil terminal Streetwalk has a new trick. I can now zoom in from wide view to closeup, all the while from the same step in streetwalk.
