Looks like a snowball, but it is really the LG nest under the nitelite.
Or maybe a white bear or some even stranger animal. :)
AWWWW, June. What a nice memory of a fish delivery. Maybe it will inspire better weather and a quick return of our pair. xx

Oh, MY! It IS a snowball! Early daylight reveals that it has snowed at Loch Garten.
After bad weather through Europe, they're to come home to this? That's not a fitting welcome.
Snow?? WHAT snow?

A new unidentified female arrived at LOTL at 4;25 p.m. yesterday March 31st. Staff has confirmed this is NOT LADY the male has accepted her with nesting materials and successful mateings.
still an empty nest at LG. I am soooo scared!!!
!6 now showing red :( It is a slight comfort to know that so many have still to arrive, well that's what I'm clinging on to anyway. I am more than a little concerned for Maya though, 15 days for her.

Starling, I still cling to some hope, too. Of course I wish all our followed birds well, Beatrice Rothiemurchus & others. and it seems that Lady has made her final departure.
But I can only pour my heart into one nest and I can't imagine that nest without EJ & Odin
Good evening all. I see EJ has not returned yet or Mrs 5R (Maya) and quite a few others and am getting a little concerned now. June I too cannot imagine the nest without EJ and Odin :(
