Morning all; All quiet on nests so far with EJ and Marge snoozing.

Soosin hope EJ gets and early delivery tomorrow although she has seemed quite calm so perhaps she is not that hungry.

It was not a pine marten I saw him circle and sort of land there and "I saw him fly away"

Thanks Hazelwoods that's priceless.
I heard a bird flying over the nest just about half seven, thought it had landed but wasn't on the nest. Ej was unperturbed so I assumed it must be Odin . He couldn't hve been perched below for an hour and a half - could he???? Are we sure it WAS Odin lol. So funny. a bit of domestic dis-harmony perhaps.

Sorry!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
I think if it was not Odin perched so close to her eggs EJ would have been agitated .
Yeah Margo. She'll have plenty in reserve having fed well recently. Think its about 3 days they can go isn't it, without feeding IF necessary.

There were times in the past when there were torrential rains for a couple of days and fishing was impossible. EJ didn't eat then and she was fine.
She ate this morning and isn't burning much fat just sitting on the eggs
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I don't think I'd have believed it.

Tish it is hilarious. You know what they say though the older you get the more crafty you become. EJ will get her own back I am sure. On that note I really must log off. Have made the most of my weekend alone, OH back late tomorrow evening.
