Lots of interesting posts on the previous threads. Thanks folks. EJ on nest/eggs right now. Doesn't look too windy. Marge on her eggs too.
Lindybird Brenda's comment is funny as well.
Margobird
Each time I come back, EJ has shifted around in the nest, as if to get out of the wind a little. I was laughing also at your "busy, busy boy" comment, Margobird.
Lindybird I have been watching most of the day, wonderful to have the freedom to do so. OH has now arrived at his hotel in Belgium and has also passed the cold he has had all week on to me. Sore throat, runny nose, been attached to the tissue box most of the day. It is amazing how when we have first spell of good weather there always seem to be colds going round.
Think I am going sqaure eyed now so going to move away from comuter for a while and sort something out to eat. I fancy beans on toast with some grilled bacon. Not really into cooking just for myself and I am quite looking forward to what I am going to have. Will be back later.
Glad he has arrived safely, Margobird. Your meal sounds like a favourite of mine - whoops we're "off topic" again.
EJ still happily on the nest at present. Wind has not died down at all, all day.
Hi everyone.Firstly a warm welcome to Pamela. :-)Haven't been online since Thursday morning as my router finally gave up the ghost. So I missed all the excitement of the first egg at LG. Many thanks to everyone for all the obs, pictures, videos etc. Thankfully a new router arrived this morning.
I'm so happy for Odin and EJ. Can't wait for the next egg.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Hooray - Odin has arrived with a decent sized fish - at first, it seems stuck to his right talon, but eventually EJ grabs it from him and flies off.
And Odin delivers a fish ... I wonder if she'll be sneaky when she eats it this time!

Odin rearranges the nest, tidies the moss, and sits on the egg....

Hi Heron77, Good to see you back on line.
Thank Linda, I came back in when I heard EJ's cries. I have got my laptop by the back door.
Hi, Heron that's a frustrating tale about your router: what a shame you've missed the first egg. At least you can read back a bit and see some of the pics. EJ & Odin seem to be bonding well, and have been mating ready for another egg (soon, I hope)
