Lots of interesting posts on the previous threads. Thanks folks. EJ on nest/eggs right now. Doesn't look too windy. Marge on her eggs too.
EJ just got up and had a good wing-shake.
Sandy - there is no answer to your query except what I wrote earlier about as good as Odin was - and he was- the fish were not quite enough for 3 chicks. EJ had to go fishing before they fledged !! The idea of four makes me shudder, sorry. I shall have to stop watching at the sibling rivalry stage. Just not strong enough to take it. Forgive me.
Hi Cirrus have we had second egg yet just got back in been see mum and dad before monday

No Alicat - but tomorrow is day three - between eggs- so may very well be tomorrow - especially if the weather improves. I've read that the female can delay laying, so if the weather is really poor EJ may decide to leave it until Monday.
Thanks cirrus hope she does lay tomorrow if its monday i will miss it how did your hike go
Great hike, Alicat - no aircraft - so we did a hike we would never have done if Bristol airport had been open. A place called Goblin Combe. 12 miles in wall to wall sunshine and we spotted a Crane (of all things !!) flyng above us at one point. Good night Alicat.

Hurray, I finally managed to upload to youtube. Sorry, the recommended converter wouldn't work but appreciate the suggestions. I found realplayer has an inbuilt converter which I used to convert to wmv, then uploaded from youtube. Great tolearn a new skill!
here's the link, hope it works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53Sfn2ypGSI This was around 8.20pm I think, yesterday evening.
Thanks for your welcomes Alan Petrie (lovely picture Alan) and Heron77.
EJ sitting quietly on her nest in the rain and I'm off to bed now. Goodnight all.
Hi everyone. Thanks for all the latest observations and fantastic pictures. Alan: Your picture of EJ is absolutely stunning. She's such a beautifully majestic bird.I feel sorry for EJ in the rain but it sounds as if it’s a lot calmer than earlier. Hope its drier by tomorrow. Who knows, there might be another egg then. :-)Paul.
