Morning all: LG nest is empty tonight; low light is on. Marge is on the LOTL nest (presumably on egg).
Hey Wattle, saw your last post of yesterday and I've also had problems getting on the site today, but all okay now. Interesting about the additional problem you had in receiving only about half the notifications of posts compared to the actual number that appeared on the site! Hmm. Wonder what all that was about.
Tiger: Are you taking bets on the first egg arriving today? As you said, Watch This Space"
Odin flew in for another mating.
EJ restless, calling, move a little furniture. Settles again.
Morning all Odin is certainly assiduous in one area of his husbandly duties - back for another 'quickie' just after 8.15! I suppose we're now waiting and watching carefully for the first egg.
Two small birds on nest. (Sorry I can't identify Aussie ones let alone Scotties.) Ah, EJ returns, chirping quietly
EJ looks around intently. Then flies off.
Oh dear! There will be trouble here. New residents have taken over the nest

When EJ had been gone for so long yesterday evening - an hour to my knowledge with Odin 'wittering' on the nest - I wondered if she was in fact fishing. And as Brenda informed us yesterday she came back to the nest with what looked like a whole fish and gave it to Odin. I had to go to work so didn't see her return so really appreciated your post Brenda. Had to catch up with it this am of course with things being wrong yesterday and then not functioning at all.
Tiger -- ha ha ha, very well done :)
Good Morning, I just caught a glimpse of EJ before she departed again.
Hazelwoods, well spotted. Didn't recognise them unless there were lady greenfinches. Do you know what the little birds are?
Thanks Hazlewoods. I think they were employed by EJ to clean up the nest, but I don't think they did a great job.
