Hallo all: Off we go for another day. Huh. That's unusual. EJ (I assume) is on the nest; just sitting with her back to the cam.
Oh I hope you like this. It is by Mockingbird on "Ospreys".

Yes,Tiger, thats good news. She's sitting tight. Noticed she'd been spending a lot more time on the nest past couple of days and still there when I logged off at night. EJ seemed to be on the nest a long time last night after dark as well.

Funny and so very apt, Tiger.
Evening Lindybird I got the book for Christmas but as yet I have not read it and I think I will leave it for now as I don't want to worry myself sick about what can go wrong because I know there are sad stories and you are so right fragile lives is what they live. Just peeped in and seen EJ tidying the nest again and she looks glorious with the setting sun on her. I think 3 chicks as well but as you say who knows. Have just watched the weather forecast and it is going to get colder up there by the end of the week with sleet and snow on high ground. I sincerely hope not especially as there must be an egg soon. Have a good evening.

Oh I have seen worse than that. I have seen a male virtually steal the remains of a fish from the chicks when food was very scarce. But then if the male is not kept healthy then the nest fails unless Tescos step in.
A scene of absolute serenity just now. She must have had a good feed. She's sitting quiety surveying all around.
Marge just turning her egg and settling in again. This time next week we could have a couple here as well. Fingers crossed
Lovely isn't it Soosin. Eggs tonight, maybe ?
Hi Brenda. Now that would be nice, but Ilm thinking nearer the weekend for our first. She did linger a while at the nest last night after dark. Tiger will be able to tell us if that means egg laying is imminent.
