Daily Update (LG Nest) Tuesday, April 13, 2010

Hallo all: Off we go for another day.  Huh. That's unusual. EJ (I assume) is on the nest; just sitting with her back to the cam.

  • EJ peeping softly and Odin rearranging that big log to the right of the nest, he may be cleaning his beak on it.

Ooh and another acrobatic session, Odin flies off leaving EJ ruffled.

  • Good afternoon all and have just caught up with the chat on all blogs so thanks to everyone for keeping up with things so I know what I have missed when not watching.  When i first looked in think it was Odin doing a bit of housework.  EJ then arrived and there was a prolonged bout of making babies, the longest I have seen anyway.  I can see that he has been busy through the morning and hopefully EJ has had a fish although I cannot see a reference to it.  EJ left again so don't know whether she has gone fishing for herself.  Does sound a bit windy today and looking dull., but hopefully it will be dry for them after all the hard work on the nest.

Thanks too for all the pics and video links.  I am being selective on what I save to favourites now as I have so many I find it hard to find everthing and after all it is all on the blogs.

Sunny day here but very chilly wind again.  have a good afternoon all.

  • Good grief Odin just came back for another baby making session,  poor EJ he nearly flattened her this time.  He is now bush with the nest cup perhaps he is thinking it is about time he saw the fruit of his labours.

  • And another quickie! I was going to say EJ looked stunned but the computer had stuck.  By the time I refreshed he was there again, then went, then she followed (and Margobird had reported already).

  • Gary:   Where have you been?  Must conclude you've been busy - we've missed you, you know!

'Fraid your links don't work but I'll look into it:  maybe they need tweaking or something.

LG nest looks very windy compared to first thing this morning, when all was very calm. EJ sitting silently on the nest at present.

EDIT:  Many thanks to Alan for Youtube sequence of earlier today, did enjoy it Alan.

  • Terry This is fun it's like that game when you got told off by your parents because you copied everything they said!!!!

  • Reply arrangements are not working properly, in that we all seem to be getting these 'Server Error' notices, however, the posts do still appear on the thread.  This was happening this morning to me, and I noticed that the Night Shift were reporting problems on here, this morning.

  • It could be a dreaded chaffinch in the background and Lindybirds woodpecker I can hear!!
