Hi all. Quiet on the nest (well, should be at this time of night). Normal lighting (low).
Hi Annette, EJ will be on the nest in a little over a half hour and Odin will fly in right behind her.
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Well, if past performance is any guide, that's exactly what will happen. We could probably write the next two hours of blog and we'd be right on the mark. You're up late - are you typically a night owl?
EJ and Odin on the nest right on time and doing what comes naturally LOL
Ya I am a night owl. I go to bed around midnight or so.
I am retired :)
Well Odin arrived first this time - was he mantling? They did their usual "thiing", then he left and now EJ's gone.
Empty nest.
I like to be in bed by 10 - love to read for a while and if I leave it later than that, I only get one or two paragraphs read. Since the activity is pretty predictable right now, I think I'll sign off in a few minutes and let nature take its course. :-)
EJ is on the nest alone.
Is she looking chubby or is it my imagination?
Well, not necessarily chubby, but certainly contented! ;-)
Smiles, Jan.
Morning All: Came on to the lovely sight of them both contentedly together on the nest: then Odin flew off, and EJ followed soon after. Looks dry and not too windy there today.
A bird returns already. Think it is EJ.
Yes it is: she is peeping gently.
