Hi all: Quiet on nest. Soosin posted news of her Saturday outing at the end of the last Update; I've copied them onto the new Weekly Chat page (hope that's OK Soosin?)

Ej back followed a minute later by Odin. They mate and he takes off without his feet having touched the nest
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy. Spike Milligan
EJ flies off also
What a flurry of wings!
both return to nest failed mating. standing with backs to each other. Odin sidling across the nest towrds her move twigs as he goes. Both have a look about, Odin flies off and no no instant return. EJ stands quietly looking over /surveying her patch.
Oh see what you mean, Lindybird - don't know if I'll be able to tell when there's only one on the nest!
She;s off now as am I. will look in tomorrow
The surface on the nest, with various twigs etc. seems to be causing them both to slide. i noticed EJ slid into the cup earlier.
I am watching the golf on TV, with laptop on nest. EJ been on nest since 8.30pm. Just left. What with EJ softly calling, birds singing at Augusta and plenty of 'Eagles' ----------- See you tomorrow.
Alan Petrie I also saw Odin digging out the nest cup and ending up with the moss and dried nest material on his back. I laughed out loud. He is a young bird. I love his nonchalant look when he isn't quite sure what to do .

Good morning Brenda H I was doing the same, one eye on EJ and Odin and the other watching the golf. It was very exciting and this is one I love to watch because you can hear the birds singing.
