Hi all: Quiet on nest. Soosin posted news of her Saturday outing at the end of the last Update; I've copied them onto the new Weekly Chat page (hope that's OK Soosin?)

odin flies in with fish and ej very rudily snatches it from him and flies off
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
Odin brings a fish, which EJ promptly snatches , mantles it and then flies off!

tish - I agree, she was very rude ... she must be starving!
Odin look quite "what do I do now then"
But she can fish for herself though so maybe it's just an osprey thing. In their world it's normal!!! oing out with Mogther ansd hopefully some gardening!! Keep the [pics coming joan
tish- enjoy your day - will try to keep up with pics if I hear anything interesting! Won't be on much this afternoon.
EJ returns minus any leftover fish ... Odin looks very bemused ... "where's my share?"
Thanks to All for pics. Nest Empty at present, and all quiet, except for distant birds chirping.
Been to some woods, to take Dog for walk: no sign yet of the bluebells which should really be at least growing now, never mind any blue yet: everything is late this year. Lovely warm morning with occasional sunshine. No woodpeckers about, although we know there are some there. (sorry - off topic)
Nice to see it all peaceful on the LG nest.
Soosin: How great to see kingfishers mating! Hope you had a camera handy. I'm sure you'll have enjoyed today as it seems to be Spring all over the UK.
Came back from being away from the screen for about 3 mins. to find TWO birds sitting silently on the nest! Don't know if there has been a mating, but they look quite companionable and are very quiet in the sunshine- now Odin has flown off again, leaving EJ just sitting, looking around.
(no sign of any fish, and I'm sure if he'd brought a stick or branch she would be busily rearranging again...)
