Just noticed the time so thought I'd be a chancer and start the new thread before heading off to bed :)
All's quiet on the Western Front, and on the LG nest. In this strange light the nest looks as if it has quite a deep bowl and the sides are much higher now. EJ and Odin must have realised that it's time to get down to some serious nest building as eggs will be here soon. Nice to see that Odin is remembering to bring his lady red roses (well red spagnum moss, but it's the nearest he could find.)
Camera still appears to be off line - hope its back soon because missing daily fix

Perhaps this is one of the reasons that they both have been behaving oddly. If there is a pine marten about poor EJ and Odin not being able to do anything about it!!!!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.

Thanks for that . At least we can get our fix!!

I hope there aren't foxes as well as pine martins. That really would be too much for EJ and Odin to cope with.
:)
hazelwoods you were too quick for me. I though I could edit that without anyone seeing it. :)))
My daughter was at LG yesterday and she saw Odin in a tree eating a fish with EJ watching him from the nest. She was told that Odin had earlier brought in a huge pike for EJ.
At least we know they are both around today as this pic from the stills camera shows!
