Not sure how much I'll see tonight, given computer problems. Can't see any wind action at LG - don't know if it's calm or of the image is frozen!
Here's a few pics I took at LG on Sunday, EJ spent a lot of time in the tree next to the nest. They were taken with my phone, a couple through the viewing telescope things so they aren't the best quality but they might be of interest to someone.

stan. I loved that one of EJ in the tree. It looked like there was a huge moon behind her. Very effective, I assume it was taken through the telecope lens
btw Welcome
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
stan: Thanks for the pictures, they show for those who expressed concern about the birds being disturbed by noise, that the nest is some distance from the Centre.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data Site
Sat track schedule Spring 2014
LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies
There is still a lot of echo though isn't there? Sound bouncing of trees etc.. I would assume that their hearing is more acute than ours!!

Stan, thanks for the photos. Lovely to see the place again; its seven years since I was there. As previously said the effect of taking the pic through the view finder was terrific. So much snow around on the weekend.
Thanks to others who have put up photos, all very interesting looking at the changing perspectives.
Still no birds on the nest, presume one or other is in the camera tree?
cheers, jude.
Hi Stan! Do you mind if I "show" those pics in Finnish site? There are some keen LG fans. Won`t post them if you don`t like that idea, will totally understand so absolutely no pressure, seriously :)

If EJ and Odin have abandoned this nest for some unknown reason, presumably it could be taken over by some young birds coming later? So the position of the Centre and laying cables to it would not be wasted. It might mean no successful chicks there this year, but would be interesting to observe behaviour of new returners!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Thank you Stan for showing your photographs. Lovely to see those familiar sights again.
Nest still empty !

The emptiness is a worry or maybe it;s just me BrendaH
I wouldn't worry Tish. She is more comfortable if she is sitting in the tree, or they have just gone fishing, although I do understand what you mean about the extra noise at LG this year, even though it is a distance from the nest, I am sure it is still quite audible to EJ and Odin.
