Happy Easter all!
OK. So EJ and Odin safely at LG, but what has happened to the LOTL cam. Haven't been able to get anything. It looks like it's going to load okay, then you get just a black screen. Let's hope they get it sorted soon. Margobird said they'd had horrible weather there yesterday, so maybe that knocked out something.
Well, I missed Odin's arrival but thanks to BigRab, there's a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4EoYaRO6js which I plan to watch myself in a minute.
Busy day here, also amazed to see Trucker cam is now in Albuquerque - boy! does that guy ever cover ground. So I really have to follow him tomorrow (along with you-know-who) because I've driven that road and just love the huge wide horizons. But it's also Easter, so a bit of family stuff going on. Bought some lovely strawberries from the farm down the road and then went to supermarket and bought some naughty cheese (fattening double cream French Brie), mushrooms stuffed with all kinds of yummy stuff and simply couldn't turn down Haagen Dazs's invite to try - "at special introduction price" - new Java Chip flavor with coffee and chocolate chips. Was at Costco earlier and got some great asparagus and Wild Alaska Halibut. So we had a nice dinner, but ice cream still unopened - for now.

They are my 2 fusspots. Cappuccino sits on my shoulder with his beak in my ear, and Sydney sits beside the computer mouse so he can force his head under my fingers to tickle behind his ears :)
I've emailed RSPB about the avatar upload problem, as I've managed to remove my original and can't put it back again.
The cockatiels are gorgeous Hazelwoods. Thank you for your reply to my page. Hope the avatar problem is sorted out soon. Emma
Love the birdies, hazelwoods!
hazelwoods - love the pic of your cockatiels, they are gorgeous! My budgie Harry also likes to sit by the computer mouse and get tickled - that is when he's not chasing my fingers over the keyboard!

HAZELWOODS Sydney sounds like Dillon (my Golden Retriever) who nudges my arm until he can lift it into place to give him a cuddle. This has resulted in endless cups of tea being spilt and other accidents because as far as he is concerned everything else takes second place
Lake Barkley,Kentucky ospreys now have 3 eggs:

Oh yes, I know it well. If a hand isn't busy it should be tickling him. Even if it is busy it should still be tickling him. When he's not sitting beside the mouse he's sitting on my foot. Or when we put a hand out to lift him up he just forces his head down, as if to do a somersault,. and demands tickles.

A few years ago we had a baby owl in school from the local animal park. I met the keeper as she was going out of school. I asked if it liked being tickled behind its ears. "Oh yes!" was the reply. As I leaned down to tickle him he leaned his head over so that I would get just the right spot :)
When I see the ospreys tilting their heads I often wonder if they'd enjoy having their ears tickled too.
