Happy Easter all!
OK. So EJ and Odin safely at LG, but what has happened to the LOTL cam. Haven't been able to get anything. It looks like it's going to load okay, then you get just a black screen. Let's hope they get it sorted soon. Margobird said they'd had horrible weather there yesterday, so maybe that knocked out something.
Well, I missed Odin's arrival but thanks to BigRab, there's a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4EoYaRO6js which I plan to watch myself in a minute.
Busy day here, also amazed to see Trucker cam is now in Albuquerque - boy! does that guy ever cover ground. So I really have to follow him tomorrow (along with you-know-who) because I've driven that road and just love the huge wide horizons. But it's also Easter, so a bit of family stuff going on. Bought some lovely strawberries from the farm down the road and then went to supermarket and bought some naughty cheese (fattening double cream French Brie), mushrooms stuffed with all kinds of yummy stuff and simply couldn't turn down Haagen Dazs's invite to try - "at special introduction price" - new Java Chip flavor with coffee and chocolate chips. Was at Costco earlier and got some great asparagus and Wild Alaska Halibut. So we had a nice dinner, but ice cream still unopened - for now.
Thanks Sand thought it was just me doing something wrong

Sorry Sandy didn't mean to call you Sand.
NEW BLOG.
Thanks Sandy.
Two Bald Eagle chicks (this may be old news) have hatched on the Channel Islands (off coast of Santa Barbara) live cam is at http://www.nps.gov/chis/photosmultimedia/webcams.htm Nice clear cam.
Evening All. Just put on the webcam, & saw that there was a new Blog: great that all is well in Ospreyland at present.
Busy day here, doing errands, shopping mission, gardening, and in between fitting in watching the Grand National Race at Aintree. (not sure about it sometimes, as the horses often get hurt over the very big fences, do wish they would make them smaller). Had a bit of fun each picking a horse, but both mine and Husbands horses came down at some point, so very glad we didn't have time to put a 'real' bet on! The sun seemed to be out there, too, so I hope all you UK bloggers have had a lovely day.
Annette: Nice to hear about your trip, and look forward to the photos. Love to hear about places, like Washington DC, its all new to us, especially those of us not lucky enough to have ever been to the States.
Alan: Lovely photo of your flowering cherry, I do love those but we don't have any in this garden. Hope Hamish enjoyed his walk. Our Dog now hates going in the fields behind our house, as the farmer has put out a Bird Scarer which bangs every 15 mins. or so, and it frightens him so much he tries to run home again. Will be glad when the crop sprouts and the noise stops.
Lindybird : We also have a bird scarer in a field not too far from the house. Very irritating in the early morning.
Nesting calendars for Owls and Hawks, International falcons and US falcons have been updated.

Hi Lindybird. Not many folks around today/this evening. I agree with you about Grand National. Fences seem too high and I hate the thought of horses getting hurt.
