Evening all and welcome to a new wee
Feeling normal today! Back to catch up later.
Sorry CLARE my lefthandedness has attacked again and I have flagged your post in error :-((((
Good morning all -
Awww Lindy poor you, we were so blessed Tapaidh slept all night. We also used (and still do) to lift her water at night I read it also stops them piddling so much in the night. However during the day OH and I often come home to realise we had forgotten it was swimming lessons. Do you have one of those microwave heat pads they are great and Tapaidh would get straight back into bed with it. I put a ticking clock on top of her crate also.
I used to do that loads last year Heather. Mrs T even kindly enquired about my dislike of posts, hadn't realised I was disliking until she got in touch :))+
I think we've all managed to hit the wrong button at some point. The Mods will be able to suss whether it's a wrong button or spam/abuse.
I also use that button if I recognise a returning troll no matter what the content of the post is.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Blanket is a good trick. I still use one to cover the crate. Makes them feel safe and secure. When T had the cone of shame on she couldn't get in and out of crate so had bed in the open space of kitchen and over those nights reverted to piddling over the floor. We also used pen around crate at night and that way she had space with her pad on the floor so her activity space was limited
Hope she's settled down again now, Lmac. It does set them back when they have to wear a cone. We're going to have Bonnie spayed, so may have the same problems.
Weather okay so far – don’t know for how long we shall avoid the cold fronts. OH has been at a Museum meeting, in preparation for the new season starting 1st April, so I have been catching up indoors this morning, including finishing what had been a growing pile of ironing.
Annette – thanks for starting the new thread. You really shouldn’t let yourself get so tired: it sounds as if you were lucky to reach home in one piece, driving whist exhausted! But I’m glad the Miss D’s celebrations went well.
AQ – pleased your back is improving and you are being sensible and avoiding Nanny Duty this week. Enjoy the weekend trip, if you really are fit to go.
Linda – I hope Bonnie will settle soon. Maybe you should have taken two of them to keep one another company! I liked the outdoors photo of the little darling! Skype encounter between Grandson and Puppy must have been fun!
Brenda – I am sure you will enjoy time with Penny when she stays over Easter. When you say about storage when Son goes to Singapore, I wonder whether you still have stuff of his at your house: we always had trouble trying to persuade the children to actually take their belongings, and daughter is having the same problem with her boys!
Dibnlib – so pleased the Momma Dog story had a happy ending, but how awful that she was caged after her productive life was over. I guess these means there are other unfortunate bitches out there in just the same plight!
Clare – I hope you had a great bike ride.
Off to look at nests now.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
