Where did January go? Really interesting hearing about all the new/pending pups - think you have found some surrogate owners!!!
I was danged disappointed to read that Lindy actually paid for that shirt. I was looking forward to calling her "Outlaw Lindy". Maybe even make an Old West Wanted poster of her. LOL! ;-)
Thanks Annette. Your dinner sounds lovely and I hope you enjoyed your favourite wine.
Wendy, Poor Daisy. Any problems she might have, must be related to that traumatic occasion. LOL
OG, I will be thinking of J on Friday. I hope everything will be fine. A bruised shoulder and knee, do not make driving very comfortable, plus Friday nights on the motorways always seem to be very busy.
OG: Thanks for letting us know that NiteOwl is still "out" there. I hope she's doing better. I keep meaning to mention that you used to take a lot of photos and post them - they were always really good. Maybe you're too busy with the garden, family, etc? Sorry to hear about J's fall; mostly because losing one's dignity always seems much worse than the bruises and cuts.
Lindy: :-) well done!
Lindybird: That's hysterical!
OG Thinking of you EE and J today. Wising him a safe journey there and back.
Good morning, all. Lovely sunshine, so feels good. The “warmer” forecast means minus 3 in the shade at 9am instead of minus 5! Sorry about snow showers elsewhere.
Thanks for thoughts of J – and us. I know he is now 35, but any visit there does bring back memories of when he was 9 years old! Also, we know how he really doesn’t like driving.
Annette – we haven’t been taking so many photos – most would duplicate ones we have done in the past, as the birds keep a regular annual pattern!
Linda – enjoyed your shirt-smuggler poem! I hope the dentist check-up goes well.
Not much happening here today; OH has a cold now, so staying in. I shall do a bit of ironing, but only three things on the pile (more on J’s, but I don’t do his, that’s what his weekends are for!)
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
