Where did January go? Really interesting hearing about all the new/pending pups - think you have found some surrogate owners!!!
Good morning everyone
If I looked hard enough I would find an Aran jumper started 15 or so years ago and maybe even the fluffy cardigan that was never finished. It was for my eldest daughter when she was about 17 and she is now in her forties. Your chat has made me wonder whether to start knitting again. It used to be a real interest but unlike AQ I didn't have the patience to unpick when a mistake was noticed, hence the dumped items.
I remember, when King George VI died in 1952. My mum was in the middle of knitting a jumper made with dark purple wool. She said that she would hurry and finish it because it would be suitable for wearing to mourn the King as it was 'very dark'. Changed days now?
Lmac- Blanchland looks a very pretty and interesting place to visit.
Good Morning Everyone. A cold, frosty morning with sunshine. I thought there was an outside light on last night, but it was a very bright moon shining through the windows.
Heather, I remember when my Mum was teaching me to knit, how often she would have to unpick my knitting as I had dropped a stitch. I can still picture the first cardigan I completed, when I was about twelve. I was so proud of it. LOL
Good afternoon all I am sorry to bring you some sad news as I have had to put Diesel to sleep as the vet said that they had done all they could and just did not know what to do next as his bowel could be disintegrating. Talk later

Oh, no - I'm so sorry to hear that, George. Limpy and I are both thinking about you at this very sad time.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
George, I'm so sorry to read about Diesel.

GEORGE That is the saddest news. Thinking about you x
George - I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Diesel, it is always such a sad time when you lose a pet but both you and the vets did your best for him. I am thinking of you.
George my thought are with you at this sad time. You and the vets have done all that coukd be done. Take care of yourself.
