I cannot find a new thread for Rutland 2015. Is that right?

TRANSFERRED OVER...
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Morning Kate
Me too, thought I better not keep repeating myself though LOL.... It is so lovely to see the birds flying into the nest, amazing quality and its in the middle of the water I take my hat off to the technical people.
Good morning all.Let's hope that peaceful scene is mirrored at Site B today!
Birdies LG DU update.
Good Morning Mike
Yes lets hope so, but somehow I don't think it will be.... At least if 03(97) has had time to rest and feed up he may be able to get the upper hand, that is against one, but not two of them.
A changeover and a stick :-)

I don't even want to think of those poor Birds, how soul destroying to have lost your Eggs, and still facing hostility,.
I feel also for those humans who witness and are so dedicated to bring us a little of their insight, I thank everyone for helping both the wildlife and us armchair viewers.Much appreciated.
Exactly Kate, I knew how I felt reading that report, it must have been awful for those protecting the nest to witness it.
Morning all So glad everything is hunky dory here but can't help thinking and worrying about Site B Just shows their lives aren't Disney films
I thought there was going to be a changeover as 33 arrived and Maya got up No doubt expecting fish but there wasn;t any so she settled down again and 33 flew off
Morning all, thanks for all the updates and beautiful capture of the sunrise Mary.
Quick look at the nest

I have a great fondness for 03(97) and 11(98) being that they are super ospreys.
It is just a shame that we know so little about them, even what area in Scotland they both came from eg Strathspey, Badenoch, Morayshire etc etc, did they have siblings, and did any of them grow to be "Super Ospreys" too, we will never know, but it would be nice to think that there might just be other's like them out there too.
