Hi all!
Good Morning ALL. A murky wet morning here but of course that means we have warmer temperatures, 3.8c at the moment.
Linda, I love your panda pic. and Margo, it is lovely to see that you have managed to post your lovely pic. for Lynette.
Enjoy your belated Birthday lunch, Heather.
Lynette, Have a lovely day and enjoy your lunch out.
Very cold here, with a new thin layer of snow on top of the ice. Was sunny but gone now. Will have to take the car out as I must do some food shopping.
Heather - I hope you have a good lunch out with your Daughter.
Margo - Lovely to hear from you, hope that you will find the right food to suit Billie.
George - Sorry to hear about your SiL and Diesel. Hope Diesel is recovering now with the different diet.
OG do hope that you are feeling better now.
Hope everyone else are managing to keep warm and well.
Happy birthday, Lynette.
Early good morning from me.
Lindybird: Love the panda - I never get over the look of wonder in all young creatures' eyes.
Rita: Did you arrange Lynette's flowers yourself?
Heather: A shower, a nightie, and a jug of wine. Who needs a loaf of bread and "thow' when you have a book! :-)) I heard "them" saying that it's not good to be on a laptop/kindle/etc late at night coz the light emitted has so much blue in it it affects our circadian clocks. No chance of that here since we're old-fashioned when it comes to reading. We have two areas in the house where we can watch separate programs if we want; nothing in the bedrooms, but it's an idea... :-) Have a nice birthday lunch!
Back later; take care all.
Annette - It was a photo I took last year on 16th February of all the flowers that were out in my garden at the time, I brought some in and they cheered me up with the thought of Spring on the way.
Have you seen the new blog from Jen? it has some super photos on it.
Kindling, not reading yet!
Lunch was good, I chose Pizza Express because I don't get to go anywhere like that with OH, he is very conservative in his eating habits ;-) I had a risotto with chicken, pine nuts, pesto, parmesan and rocket.Creamy and delicious. Lucy had a very tasty salad with chicken, avocado, beetroot, butternut squash, baby spinach and basil leaves. I think I spied some green lentils in it, too. We had a glass of wine but no pudding - Lucy is back on the healthy eating and lost six pounds already since New Year and is quite determined to keep going. She lost three stones last year but relapsed over the festive season.
The lady who bought Sheana's house found a large studio portrait in a cupboard, one that I obviously overlooked, there was SO much stuff. I was able to tell her that the photo was one of Sheana and her brother when they were maybe 4 and seven years old. He is in a very smart sailor suit and Sheana in a lovely dress which would seem to be trimmed with broderie anglaise. She wants to hang it on the wall if Sheana and her nephew don't want it. When I told Sheana, she wept with happiness and I am waiting to hear from her nephew. Sheana is so happy that the lady loves her new home and would want to hang that picture in it.
