With this lovely video, I will say farewell to 2014 and welcome to 2015. Also best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous year for all our Forum and Gabfest friends as well as all our feathered friends, especially EJ and Odin and their 2015 family.

The people who have some of Oscars Chicks are just the children of local island co-workers. One of them was heartbroken when I took Oscar from her (He had to come home)so she was first to have an osprey of her own then others wanted them.
It is lovely to see the faces of children on a remote island when they play with toys and anything all the ex patriots bring over for them - we always have to put a few items in our case.
Just so you stay out of trouble Keith, I don't want you arrested for spying when you are only taking pictures of wildlife, etc.
Lovely photo, Keith, with all the lights. Do you recognize it?
Another picture of cactus in Arizona. This one taken by my ex-minister, Fred Shaw. Why go to Mexico to see cactus?
JUNE - Yes i do recognise the picture at 9:54 - I will get fed up of it in 5 weeks time.
This is the better side of the Alba Gas Plant where we live and my accomodation for the trip.
Lake District White 14 is just over that hill in the background and Oscar will be around the plantation next to my accomodation for the trip.
Keith, I have been wondering: Why so long this time? I'm allowed to ask, but you are allowed to not answer if that is appropriate. :)
Good evening all. Days are definitely getting longer! Not long now before our birds return always a bvit of a worrying time for me as i get antsy ( to use your words June! ) about who will not return! I remember waiting for dear Mr 5R and praying he was just held up by bad weather :( Poor Mrs 5R waiting as she did.
Well we did our Big Garden Bird Watch today around lunch time but amazingly all our birds were lying low! Later in the afternoon loads appeared again probably filling up before going to bed. No bullfinch today nor gold finches but we had a green wood pecker! They dont often come in but today he flew up into our hawthorn trees from the lawn.
Keith that looks like very nice accommodation! Hope you will get to see LD white 14
Tonight is Burns Night in Scotland, So I'm looking for something appropriate to post in celebration. Maybe a bit of Burns music.
