I forgot to say: Thank you all for your patience, and for waiting a bit for me. By the way: The first two songs were already wonderful
Tonight they turned off the Christmas Lights in George Square (The Heart of Glasgow) - There will be No Christmas Music - Funfair or Market.
The Christmas Ice Skating in George Square which our fellow gabbers attended a few years back and shared with us on gabfest has been halted.
The people of Glasgow are very resiliant and will overcome this tragic accident that hit the heart of Glasgow and the lights will shine once again on George Square.
May I use this thread to pay tribute and offer my condolances and prayers for all those involved and affected by this tragic accident.

I don't know how if it is permitted, but I'll start with at least something.
Not the cake yet, but with our Christmas-Biscuits. Please enjoy:
Edit: Keith, this was beautiful! But pardon me, I have no idea what happened. Did this accident happen only recently?
"May I use this thread to pay tribute and offer my condolances and prayers for all those involved and affected by this tragic accident."
Not only may you Keith, but we thank you for doing so. I expressed my regrets earlier on the main Gabfest thread, but once again Add my prayers and sympathies to yours. Living so close, this must truly be difficult for you and others in the area.
Bente your Christmas biscuits look delicious. I can almost "taste" the aroma.
Please note, the only RULEs as to what is permitted are the rules of the forum.
Bente a bin lorrie (truck, garbage truck?) ran wild in the streets of St George Square killing several and injuring others just a few days ago.
Unfortunately Keith, your video was "blocked" to me apparently this side of the Atlantic.
June, thank you for your kind comment. And thank you, too for reminding me: I don't know what happened, but it must have been something terrible. So I would like to offer my condolences as well.
Nevertheless: Here is a Christmas-song from me

Thank you very much for the explanation! This is terrible indeed!
