WEEKLY CHAT (non-osprey topics) SUNDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2014

Hey everyone.

LINDYBIRD has posted some pix of Matthew of the masses of black hair on the last page of last week's thread.   What makes me think we'll be seeing more soon?  :-)

DIBNLIB: Glad you had a nice walk with "new" companions.

Had nice light brunch with friends; then to the gym. Now home to throw some chicken and asparagus in the pans!  Hope all are well.

  • Amber at the cafe on Rosemarkie beach

  • CLARE  Do hope Limpy saw some otters and got some good pics. Please let us see them.

GEORGE   Hope you enjoy your new IPad. OH got one a month or so ago and is amazed by it. The pics he took at Loch an Eilein were incredibly sharp. He will be taking it down to Abingdon to show his family the pics as they have never visited. Anyway I was so glad he did take it to LanE as I went to take a photo with my wee camera only to find the battery was exhausted!

  • RITA   love your pic of Amber, what ears!!!!   Belated happy birthday.

  • Hello! We're back home again after a simply wonderful couple of days!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY a bit late, to RITA - glad you enjoyed your day, Rita, and I love the cute picture of Amber, too!!
  • George - Glad you had a pleasant time at the wine tasting - it sounds very civilised, with food involved, too. Enjoy your iPad when you get it started! I'm sure you'll be glad you treated yourself.
  • Dibnlib -  Ambers ears do look rather large! They were only pricked up like that because she was looking at a Dalmatian at the next table!

  • OG. - We are the same, we changed to our 'Autumn' duvet a week ago, and its supposed to be combined with the 'Summer' one for cold wintertime, but we only had them both on together once, when we found it much too hot! We don't have any heating on at night unless its minus 10 or something, so we must have a warm house!

    LOL Rita!!!!
  • We've had, as I said, a great time with the family. A good journey down there in the sunshine, and met at the front door by our Eldest with a sleepy little Amber draped over his shoulder. She has grown such a lot and is sooo cute!! Later, after her sleep, we had plenty of cuddles and lots of giggles before taking her for a walk in the bright sun, to the local park. A nice meal or two later, we had a good night in our hotel, then this morning wended our way back through the pretty villages for a few miles before rejoining the motorway home. Photos in a day or two!
  • Lindybird- glad to hear that you had a lovely visit to see little Amber, hope we will see some photos.  I loved the photos of Matthew, it is nice for him to have a cousin of the same age, do they live near enough to see each other sometimes?   My two granddaughters always look forward to meeting their boy cousin who is just over a year older than the eldest, he leads them into all sorts of mischief!
