This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2012-Sep 2014
The scope - following the travels of tracked ospreys "not from Loch Garten", either originating in the UK or overseas.
Can I ask for some help in starting off the thread. If you are the first person to post about a bird in the restarted thread, can you please give the name of the project which is tracking it, and supply a link to the project website.
Many thanks - Sue

I would imagine that he is heading for Africa, it is a question of where? Still no update this morning.

A lot of Tero's data is missing for 27/10, when he crossed the valley of the Euprates, so he could have fished there. It's a strange course across Saudi though.
Tero flies on
The out of the way point is clearly an anomaly
Thanks, Tiger and Sue. Hope he makes fishier territory soon!
Kind regards, Ann
Not far from the Red Sea now and certainly plenty of fishing opportunities.
Where in the east Africa will he settle - I'll throw a dice in the choice from Eritrea to Mozambique.
Thanks for this news on Tero (Interesting).
Its a shame he didnt track down the coast of the Med and through Suez as it would seem easier but then he probably has this route built in his memory like Rothie and Galacia. I plumb for Mozambique as final destination and wishing him all the luck in the world to make it. What a journey for him.
Tero is ok.
Tero flies on (Yes he probably caught a fish)
Tero map
Unbelievable his route. Thanks Tiger for the link
Looking forward to the next update from Jaydee @ Kielder, will 7H and UV have moved on or will they still be in the same place :-).
Really miss JSB's spread sheet, I take it no one has heard from him. Quite worrying.!
