This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2012-Sep 2014
The scope - following the travels of tracked ospreys "not from Loch Garten", either originating in the UK or overseas.
Can I ask for some help in starting off the thread. If you are the first person to post about a bird in the restarted thread, can you please give the name of the project which is tracking it, and supply a link to the project website.

Some progress for the adults
Beatrice crossed the Channel yesterday, and was at Wickham, just north of Fareham, by late afternoon.
Blue XD. in the late morning, was heading into the Ordesa National Park in the Pyrenees, and towards the French border.
No updates yesterday for Green J or Yellow 30.
Sue C - they are slowly getting there but I wonder how many will be absent when the numbers are counted up.
I always wonder what brings an older wise bird to its final destiny and poor migratory weather maybe a big contributary factor.
I note your posts in Osprey Chat KEITH. Very interesting . But as I said - i'm sincerely trusting for better results than in 2005

Beatrice near Dundee tonight - but her nest has been claimed by a pair of interlopers.
Blue XD is still in France. His latest position this afternoon is near Laval in the Mayenne department.
Green J started her homeward migration today, heading NE past Salamanca.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
