This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2012-Sep 2014
The scope - following the travels of tracked ospreys "not from Loch Garten", either originating in the UK or overseas.
Can I ask for some help in starting off the thread. If you are the first person to post about a bird in the restarted thread, can you please give the name of the project which is tracking it, and supply a link to the project website.
Many thanks - Sue
Another great update Jaydee, you are certainly keeping us all in the loop as to what UV does next, its a real page turner. Pity he doesn't stop on the coast somewhere, maybe he has but been driven away. Wherever he goes I hope he finds a good spot to settle.

He is on the coast, Mary, just further north in very similar habitat to 30(05) so doubtless equally good.
"Roll on tomorrow and more data! "
That is an understatement, Jaydee. I do hope he stays safe. Thank you, as always, to yourself and Paul.
Thankyou Jaydee. Hope he settles down in a good place soon. Thankyou to Paul and yourself for providing all this information for us! Cant wait for the next instalment! Hes certainly keeping us all on our toes!
Update on Kielder UV
Thanks Jaydee - The Diversified UV - He is certainly playing yo yo this past week. Maybe this is the first time he has encountered numbers of ospreys since leaving Kielder.
Any signal from 7H or is the next batch not due as yet.
Off on Sunday to see my first ospreys of 2015 hopefully.

Good luck for your trip, hope you see at least the most important one from an English perspective!
Jaydee - With these GSM trackers and a bird has settled out of range of a cell phone tower can we expect to have No Signals then it may come back even a year later if the bird moves and then in range.
Hope to get set up wi fi as soon as I can in Malabo to follow this cliffhanger.
jaydee - Thank you for another exciting report on UV.
It's disappointing that there has still not been a signal from 7H though, I hope she is fine.
