This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2012-Sep 2014
The scope - following the travels of tracked ospreys "not from Loch Garten", either originating in the UK or overseas.
Can I ask for some help in starting off the thread. If you are the first person to post about a bird in the restarted thread, can you please give the name of the project which is tracking it, and supply a link to the project website.
Many thanks - Sue
Meanwhile Samu the osprey that turned back makes it across the Sahara. See FB page for Samu
We think Samu turned back because of a dust storm.

Update on Kielder UV and 7H. A cliffhanger re 7H!
Thanks Jaydee, just going to read now.
All very interesting J, Azemmour looks a sizable town that she must be flying over to get to the river, and those pylons are also a worry too.
Have everything crossed for her staying safe.
UV is fairly settled too, wonder if he still stay there, its a waiting game now :-)....

Mary, Azemmour has about 37000 inhabitants. 7H usually is to the north of it but has flown over it at times. The residents are more likely to see her on the river when she is flying much lower. The pylons but more so the wires - especially if foggy - are a risk. So moving on wouldn't necessarily be a bad choice.
What Kielder 7H did next....
Thanks Jaydee for the latest update. Its getting to be like a paperback Thriller page turner, only thing is we cannot keep reading :- we have to wait to see what 7H does next. I bet you are on tender hooks waiting on each download.
Thanks Jaydee, that was a great update!
