The day is dawning mistily on what will probably be the first osprey-free day of the scintillating 2014 LG season. Has Odin departed? Surely he has.

I've had a scroll thru the day so far but didn't catch any fly-by. Too easy to miss anyway.
Thank you Scylla. It is difficult watching a screen with no movement.

New blog from Richard, bad news about Seasca. Only hope is that it could be a transmitter problem.
Oh no Margo, I was only looking at GE earlier today and thinking that she must have made landfall by now, and would be safely feeding in Spain. I'm off to read it.

This is just not what I expected. So terribly sad. I just don't know what to say at the moment.
I can't believe what I have just read on the blog. If it is the worse scenario....which seems likely.....then that is a crushing blow after such a wonderful season and to such a beuatiful and determined young bird Completely gutted
Totally gutted
This is terrible news. I'm deeply saddened. crushing blow to say the least for the LG team. Sorry Richard :(

I think we have to be vaguely positive. Richard wrote: The last recorded data point we had last Thursday was at 21.00 GMT 21 August when she was flying at an altitude of 110m". He does not say the data showed zero.
