This is a new thread to follow the travels of these three young ospreys from the Loch Garten nest.
Millicent
This female juvenile is the eldest of the 2014 brood, hatched on 17th May and fledged on 12th July. Millicent’s ring is Blue/White AN0
Seasca
Also female, the second of the 2014 brood, hatched 19th May and fledged on 15th July. Seasca’s ring is Blue/White AN9.
LG blog on the ringing and tagging of Millicent & Seasca. Their younger sister Druie is not tagged, but ringed Blue/White AN8.
Breagha
A male from the 2013 brood, hatched 28th May and fledged on 19th July. Breagha’s ring is Blue/white CF4.
LG blog on the ringing and tagging Breagha and elder sibling Oighrig.
The migrations of Breagha and Oighrig were previously followed in this thread. Contact was lost with Oighrig in January 2014, but Breagha has survived and is living in the tidal creeks of the Casamance river in southern Senegal.
You can be sure that Breagha will be checked every days (probably more than once) until he starts moving north, probably in the next month.

Thankyou all for the good news that Breagh is doing well, was getting a little concerned :). Look forward to him coming home
It is a relief to know that Breagha is doing just fine. Than you SUE.
It was on 10 March that the information updates changed to nine data points per day, collected every three days. It was mentioned in one of the blogs around that time.

Indeed he will :)Great news that White 14 is heading north
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
It is indeed great news to hear that White 14 is heading north, I just want him and Breagha to stay safe whatever they do.
Will be interesting to see what White 14 does when he migrates again at the end of the season though, will he go all the way back to EG, or stop off further north.
I also noticed that the article in the RSPB magazine referred to Breagha as female!

Great update on Breagha in Jen's latest blog!

Blog, as mentioned by Wendy.
Thanks for link Sheila, didn't have time!
Is anyone else wondering about what has happened to Breagha?
Last update is Monday 27 April 2015
Tiger
There hasn't been a Google Earth update since 27/4, but Jen's blog of 8th May referred briefly to "Breagha, who continues to do well in Senegal", so I guess he was still in his usual area at that point.
