Evening all: It's 3:30 a.m. UK time. All quiet at the nest. Sunrise in Edinburgh will be at 5:57 a.m....
She is just amazing! She flew all that way and is wasting no time setting her house to rights kicking up the dirt and moving the moss around.
Aha. Off she goes after a couple of those sideways movements with her head. So she was on the nest for about 30 minutes. And I'm off too. Diane and Caerann, goodnight dearies. And good morning to everyone who's waking up now - have a lovely day!
EJ did that little sideways head bob that raptors do. At the camera? She called several times, and then she lifted off and flew away! I'm off, too. I'm sure that EJ will be back with a fish by the time the UK wakes up.
Duh! Thanks Diane. Next time I must remember to turn the sound up. Night all!
I presume it's Marge who's now at LotL.
Happy sleep Annette!
I love the head bob, Diane! I wonder who she is calling to??
Okay, I have to make like a banana and split now, gals!
See ya soon!
6:00 AM --UK time. EJ is on her nest scanning the sky and area for Odin :)
She has done quite a bit of nest work already today . The center of the nest is nearly cleared .
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
She's still there. The only thing about getting back early to claim her nest is that it could be a long, lonely vigil for her, waiting for her mate (c'mon, Odin) to turn up!
Smiles, Jan.

Odin arrived at about 1.30pm on 3rd April 2009.
Well an unknown bird turned up who was later given the name Odin.
