It has been a while since I started a DU thread. It has been good that there have been so many thread starters this year.
Although I do not have any cam tonight I feel sure that we have got to the stage of empty nest now.
With regard to the problem of informing the powers that be, it seems to me that there needs to be a better way to inform them of malfunctions. There should surely be a better way of getting the information through in this technological age.

EJ on the nest
Its EJ then, and another one flew in and landed to the side of the nest at the front as we look at it but then flew off again.
Better late than never - here is the intruder event.
Intruder lands on nest and chills, plenty of time, nearly 2 minutes! Intruder gets wind of EJ on the way and scarpers, EJ lands shortly afterwards and spends over 11 minutes defending. At times the intruder (I presume) can be seen as a white speck or blob or wings in the sky - not often though, and difficult to see mostly.
It's cut down from about 13+ minutes to 5m30s 4m50s. I have dwelt on EJ's fury.
(I duplicated the first clip so have re-edited the video.)
