Good morning everyone! And thank you Sheila for Jen's report. It does show how much we do miss not having the wide view. But I also remember that now that we have webcams, we understand so much more of osprey behaviors than before this technology...
As I speak, one of the GEMs is staring straight into the camera! :)

Oh, the family are eating a new FISH !
Mike, Clare and I visited The Lodge on June 6th to talk about the problems on the Community - follow this link to read our thread.
Thanks LIMPY

Must have been after 2130hr when the cam went down. Glad to hear he did bring another fish - it seemed amazing that he'd bring only one, and only served to rattle me! If only they'd left the tail-end on the nest to give us a clue ;-)
Just off to read your report, LIMPY, thank you for taking the trouble!
Many thanks Limpy, Clare and Mike. Well done.
LOL SCYLLA! I see that CIRRUS caught them eating on the nest this afternoon, when we missed Odin bringing it in. I guess, and it is a guess, that we have had two fish so far.

FISH 18.08 ish. I just saw the chicks lining up near EJ and a flash of wings as Odin departed. I have no idea how long he had been there. EJ watched him as he went, so whether he just flew off having done his duty or whether in pursuit I have no idea.
Great report, Limpy. Thanks to you, Clare and Mike for taking that time to compile the list and to Maurice and Claire for taking the time to address them. It helps to know the issues have acknowledgement. It is such an honor to be able to commune with all of you on this site.
Also thanks to scylla of course, who I hope still has a few strands of hair in her head.
