The scene on Sunday morning.
Birdies LG DU update.
I see that when the eggs failed to hatch in 2011 the first two eggs were laid on the exact same dates as they were this year. EG
the 13th and 16th of April. The third egg in 2011 was laid on the 19th April, and this year it was the 18th of April.
In 2011 the eggs were collected for analysis on the 7th of July.
Lady was last seen that season on 7th of August. So all who plan visiting have until around that date to do so, I usually go beginning of August, but I think I may have to go before then in the off chance that she decides to go earlier.

Thanks Kate & Mary! It will be interesting to see if they hold out for a similar amount of time as last time.
It's unlikely I'll get to Loch of the Lowes this year, sad about that, but just too far from London!

Laddie still sitting on those eggs. I suppose he will still make sure that he stays in possession of his nest until he leaves.

Thanks Kate! It sounds like increasing signs that the end is nigh for incubation, but I guess we can only keep watching and waiting just like the ospreys are doing!
Morning all
Cant make this wing out??
Hi Kate.
Morning All
Not sure if there was a changeover or not, when I looked in at 6.30 the nest was occupied, then it was empty for about 5 mins, then at 06.38 back again :-)
