Yesterday's quiet was punctuated in the evening by a similar male intruder to one who tried to move in with EJ on 24 April, but it may not have been the same bird.
All peaceful currently:

Morning all!
Odin tidying up around EJ reminds me of hoovering my Nanna's flat while she sits in her armchair - legs up so I can get underneath!
EJ is gently reminding him with little chirps that she would rather he stopped faffing around and got on with sorting out breakfast.
That's it, cushions all plumped and he's off again!

Hi, Chocoholix. I love the idea of Odin plumping cushions!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hi Clare! Odin is quite the housefather I think!
I love those little chirps that EJ makes too... having listened to other nests, whether it's genuinely distinctive to her or just a feature of the microphone level I have no idea, but no other female osprey appears to do it quite as delicately as she does!
Sounds like EJ is expecting company, but it's in the early stages ;-)
Must be a fish due

Odin lands on the nest not sure if there was a fish EJ takes off.
From the video I now think there was a fish.
That is Odin on the nest now.
I posted the FISH delivery on yesterday's thread :-/
No pic, because it was invisible, even in the air on the way in and on the way out... as you can see from LIMPY's vid, there was merely a hint of something.
