I am bringing forward an event from yesterday because the cam is down and the transmission ended on a cliffhanger.
There had been an intruder who was dealt with by both EJ and Odin, but the intruder returned - EJ suddenly cried out and flew off... and then the cam went down @ 1844hr.
We can only hope that the Centre will fill us in.
IMAGICAT
Odin arrives with a big stick. He wanders about a bit with it - EJ gets herself out of the way by flying off and Odin settles on the eggs.

EJ has returned:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She is looking beautiful - and alert - in the sunshine:
Have been watching a little this afternoon. Its still the waiting game. Thanks for updates and pics etc.
Welcome to the club CC , had mine done a year ago.

EJ has a quick preen:
Enough of that, time to remind you all how fierce she can look:
Unknown said:I am catching up from my busy days of rehab after my knee replacement surgery, and a day before the onslaught of month-long visitors to my house!
So happy to see you back {{{CC}}} - but I gather this is just a quick in-and-out, as you will be otherwise engaged for the nest month. By the time you get back again there should be osplets !!!
EJ has been softly tweeting, she's just having a vocal rest now.
Odin's just dropped in with a big clump and taken over.
Odin arrives with a Russian fur hat:
What on earth do you expect me to do with that? You had better sort out where it's going:
Little vid of big clump:
That's 2 large clumps of soft nest material on the nest now.
Snap, CLARE - I'm sure you can understand why I didn't refresh before posting, what with then having to wait for rich formatting ;-)
