Another day has passed with no cause for concern on the LG nest. EJ may have gone fishing for herself in the early morning - she was absent from the nest for nearly 2 hours - and Odin brought a good fish late lunchtime, as well as doing his fair share of incubating. There were a number of quiet conversations between the couple.
EJ is asleep on her three eggs:
IMAGICAT
Fast asleep. Hope she isn't too cold. She snuggled her beak further into her feathers

Heavens, PATILY, I hope you are not up this late due to "discomfort" of any kind :o
Something piqued EJ's interest but she soon settled again:
Morning All
Odin - is incubating and moving a clump around a bit. No idea when the changeover took place as he was on screen when I first looked around 6 am.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Morning MARY I first looked in at that time too and saw that Odin was on early duties again
He is slowly being illuminated by the sun! He is very figidity this morning! :-)
Good morning, all. EJ is looking relaxed on the nest:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning!
I posted this OVER TWO HOURS AGO and rushed off to Rutland, been doing all sorts and just got back here to fnd the post sitting frozen in the rich formatting box >:(

DAYCAM 0525hr
EJ got up and left @ 0546hr and Odin flew in immediately to take over - is this a new routine this year? No spread wings included because it just blurs up.,
EJ returned @ 0741hr - Odin anticipated.
She didn't feak, so no telling if she had a fish.
Odin is incubating again
