Almost a routine day yesterday, except none of us saw a fish delivery (did EJ catch her own when she had a long break early in the morning?) and EJ had to repel an intruder who had been singing and dancing for her - was it BlueXD, we wondered?
Tonight EJ sits peacefully on her 3 eggs - she just had a 2-minute stretch-and-flap but the stills are mostly very blurred, sadly.
I have personally asked her not to lay another egg, but her response was non-committal.

Night cam has now come on
NIGHTCAM 21:04:59 - I hate it when the time is on the cusp so that I can't post before and after in the same minute.

I keep seeing lights flashing on and off. Is this an effect of the night cam or is something dodgy going on? EJ doesn't look too happy:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I have seen that too and wondered what it was - is it Centre staff doing a late-night check? Or what? Is it an infra-red light that EJ cannot see? She is never greatly disturbed by the lights.
