Golden Odin:

I was just watching Odin snuggle himself tight down on the eggs and I heard myself say "Oh dear" in an awed fashion :-*

Appx 9.46, Odin is relaxing and in this little clip a bird can be heard singing. Does anyone know what this bird is? It's a nice song....familiar but can't place it :-/

Aha!!!  I know what that is, I had it identified for me only a few days ago... but... I can't remember :'(  I fear it's too late for me to learn birdsongs, except the osprey's various voices.

Almost everyone else here will know what that bird is.

I have to go now...grump. these last few hours seem like 5 mins and I am cheated of my usual 6-7 hour stint:-/

Hi mims (&Scylla)  - I think it is a Coal Tit singing, they seem to say 'wee-cha, wee-cha, wee-cha' in a very rhythmical way. Bit like Great Tit ('teacher, teacher') but higher and thinner.  Hope that helps!
