Loch of the Lowes MARCH 2014

LOTL webcam now freezing constantly and no sound. They must be pulling their hair out trying to fix it ! I don't think the angle is deliberate, may just be a different fixing mechanism for the new camera which can be altered(i hope ) or i may have to invest in some travel sickness pills before i watch it ;-)

Wonderful cacophony of sound on the Cam this morning, Be warned turn your volume DOWN,

Lady will be truly deafening this year. don't you just love it

Tuned into the cam yesterday as arrival of ospreys are in the offing - will Lady make it this year, I do hope so but only time will tell.

What a super clear picture this year, viewing will be enhanced by the new cam.

Camera is in a mess this morning. Looks like they have a real problem.

I have contacted LoL to make them aware of the camera problem. It would seem to be a 'streaming' issue to do with the capacity in the area. Whilst of no comfort to us the good news is that on site they have great pictures so that at least is great for the 'front line' staff.

Thanks for the info, Mike. After seeing comments about 'super clear picture', I wondered if there was something wrong with my laptop as this is the image I have!

Well, I tried to insert my image but kept getting "An error occurred while uploading the file."

Edit: As Mike has said that the computer upload is currently not working I thought I'd try the URL route.

After much effort I managed to upload my image to a Flickr a/c but then really struggled to find the 'Direct link' that Scylla mentioned on RW page - found it in the middle of the HTML code!  Must be an easier way - I'll investigate when I've recovered.
