Will EJ return this week? What if another female tries to claim the nest? Will super-Odin return to fish another year? Or will EJ take another mate (she'd better not!!) Will YOU be the lucky blogger to catch the first glimpse of an osprey at LG? Tune in to the Loch Garten LIVE webcam for the first installment of Loch Garten Ospreys - 2010!!
Seriously, lots of interesting chat on the last page or two of the previous week's chatter. Catch up now because you won't have time once the ospreys are back in town! :-)
Good morning Alan like the joke.
Margobird
Morning patriciat sorry you still have rain. We had some very heavy showers all through yesterday and at one point even lightening and thunder wich I am absolutely terrified of. Dry at the moment although we might get a light shower. Hope so because like you ospreys could probably fish in my garden too, It resembles a lake in parts. Keep looking at the LG cam and hoping ahd I still haven't seen the LOL female.
Have a good day.
Hello tish and Soosin nice to see you back. Are you ready for the roller coaster ride again.
Hi Margobird and thanks for your good wishes. Here is another joke:
"I went to buy some camouflage trousers, but I couldn't find any in the shops"
LOL Lindybird.

Thanks Alan. Like the Benjamin Franklin quote at the bottom of the US calendar.
(Just looked back on the posts and have now got Tiger's joke about 'a flutter!!' )
Alan I was thinking that we need one of those sheets for Loch Garten. I have a spreadsheet but I prefer that sort of sheet.
Here is a really nice new one for Wood's Hole ospreys. See http://www.whoi.edu/ospreycam/page.do?pid=41057

Tiger : I agree with you about the Woods Hole sheet. Really clear with all the data needed.
The reserve diary has been updated at Rutland Water:

Lovely to see an osprey on a nest again. The weather does look dry there, at least.
