Birdies LG DU update.
neither do I tina. We don't know what's been going on tonight, if 28 has seen off 33 for instance, or if he has been fishing for Maya, I guess we'll have to wait to hear in a blog if 28 has supplied any fish after sundown but I doubt it.

Tina/Stingray - I think that Blue 28's enforced absence from the nest over the past three days has already done the damage.
The long term return of 28 will only encourage the Manton Bay Female to continue to incubate these eggs that almost certainly are likely to fail to hatch.
However I do at times like this hope I am wrong.

That's just what I was thinking when I found this footage, KEITH, and I hope you/we are wrong too, but :'(
He was on the nest just over 6 minutes, between these two clips neither of them moved:
The first attempt, Maya did not respond:
The second attempt looked successful, even though he toppled a bit at the end ;-)
If only he had brought her a fish :-(

Thank you for the footage Scylla, I had only caught the last couple of minutes of 28 before he left again.

Maya was there a few minutes ago but I think this probably says it all.
Morning MIKE I looked in a few minutes after 6.00 and it was like this Has poor Maya realised the futility of her situation? She needs to look after herself now.
Have you read another beautiful blog by Ken of Site B?
OMG Maya is incubating again I wonder if she has been away catching and eating her breakfast?
Just as I looked at the camera I saw an osprey leave with a large fish ???
Maya has a large squirming fish Delivered by 28????????? Not sure she has had time to get it herself since I saw her incubating If he is around why isn't 28 on the eggs?
Everything SOOOO slow this morning
Edit Maya has just flown off with fish so pleased she can feed at last
