I assume Maya on the nest, but she has just gone, as I type she is back.

I think these eggs will probably fail which is such a shame. They were hardly incubated yesterday and nor today. Such a shame.
It's not looking good Lmac, the situation seems no different today. Maya looks so stressed :(

What is 28 doing. The blog the other day suggested 33/11 had the upper hand and 28 spent the time being chased. Not a good scenario for maya or a successful nest if he cannot defend his territory
Lmac. I think you are saying what a lot of us are thinking. Regretfully only time will telland all we can do is watch and wait with fingers crossed.
Thank you Sheila & Brenda. I did read that blog and had forgotten he had a damaged wing as I just had not noticed it myself before. It was just the way he was standing and letting it flop a bit and as I said before - a tad askew. Maybe losing the primary Brenda was saying has made it look worse?
If he has lived like that for two years then it's normal for him. Just hope they are ok. Thanks again.

The first I see when Ilook in...a nest with no bird
Has 28 (10) been seen at all It will be unbearably sad if this nest fails Maya such a brilliant bird and a good mother and to have had all those years of success...........
28(10) had the damaged wing when he arrived from Africa last year and has managed to fly there and back since so it cannot be having a great deal of effect. Maybe enough though when under attack from 33(11) who is bit feisty. To be truthful , I am gutted that 5R has not returned as he was the star attraction at Manton Bay for me.
Oh ALAN So sorry And you used to go so regularly. Will you still try to go this year?
When did poor Maya last eat
