Good morning, all, and welcome to the new month's thread. I imagine we'll have to wait and see whether Glesni has actually gone - if she has, she can look back on a season where she has every right to feel very proud of herself!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Monty flies by with a fish then delivers to 2 juvies on nest (I have not discerned which is which). Train trundles by. Sample of behaviour with fish, which was still flapping for a while :-(

Morning CLARE & SCYLLA
Evidently its Clarach with the flounder According to chat Cerist had a small fish earlier. Shows what an expert Monty is that he can fish in this mist, not once but at least twice
Hi, Patily! Looks like it's going to be a nice sunny day now that the mist is clearing.
Good morning, Good to see the sisters have each had a fish, Monty is some fisherman. Weather here in Wales is wonderful at the moment, just sat having a coffee watching the birds. Bliss.
Thanks for the earlier fish reports, SCYLLA and CLARE.
Just seen DOP's FB entry - the flounder went over the edge of the nest! No wonder the sisters are complaining :-)
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
Oh dear. Thanks BIRDSONG
Camera stuck on empty perch as youngster obviously saw incoming fish and took off. By the time the camera was back on the nest, Cerist had a flounder securely in her talons as Clarach looked on. Assume Monty brought in a new flounder rather than retrieving the old one but you never know! This flounder is not flapping so much easier than first time round :-)
Cerist not making much progres on the fish yet.
Clarach screaming for a fish. Cerist's flounder looks very tough.
