Brenda:  Hope your OH does not have a permanent scar - that could have been really nasty, but does have a slightly comical sound to the tale... perhaps because it reminds me of some of the old silent films, I expect. ;-)    Seriously though, hope he soon heals.

tina:   You sound as if you are really enjoying yourself in Wales - glad that the weather is remaining good for you.

Popped out for some food shopping this afternoon, and on the way back, met waves of schoolchildren coming back from their first day at High School - how smart they all looked, in their new uniforms!   Probably glad to get the first day in a new class over with.   We have some lovely fuchsias out now in the garden, and the last of the flowering plants such as Phlox and roses.  It was a beautiful afternoon so although I did a bit of weeding and tidying, I also sat in a chair in the garden and nearly went to sleep in the sun - it could be much cooler tomorrow so I don't regret enjoying the last of perhaps the remaining good weather of the summer.

Linda, OH reckons he now has 10mph imprinted on his forehead. He told our daughter that he had noticed that everybody now slows down as they approach him.

  • I have everything crossed for you, Margo ---   here is a pic to cheer you up

  • Good to hear you are not feeling as bad as last time, Margo, I hope it continues that way.

Yes, we may need a cardigan or two, from tomorrow. Just put out a load of washing for the sun to dry.

  • Good Morning MARGO  Lovely to see a message from you I hope you continue to feel "not too bad"

  • Weather has changed a bit here as it was a lot cooler this morning when Diesel and I had our walk.

Margo I you are feeling the difference of being at home this time and probably Bobby's antics will keep you amused.

Been to the chiropodist this morning so now I can't say my feet are sore when out walking.
